Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart Lost Angeles in the morning; cross the International Date Line (lose a day)

Day 2: Arrive Koror, Palau in the evening and transfer to hotel.

Day 3: Following breakfast, we will depart for Peleliu thru the Rock Island by boat. Upon arrival on island we will check into our rooms and have lunch. After lunch we will explore White Beach, Orange Beach, Hunts Point, American Military Cemetery, Joseph's Cave and Coral Ridge. B,L,D

Day 4: We will continue to explore the island with a trek into the jungle to visit Unnamed Island (aircraft cemetery), German blockhouse, Japanese Zero, Lady Luck LVT, TBF crash site, Temple of Doom 1 and 2. We will also visit the Japanese administration area, Peleliu WWII Memorial Museum, Radio direction finder area, and Purple Beach. B,L,D

Day 5: Continue trek into the West Road Ridges, first Command Post, Sherman Tank, Communication cave, and Hills 150, 160, 180, 200, 205 and Hill 210. B,L,D

Day 6: Today we will trek the Horseshoe Valley, Wildcat Bowl, Five Brothers, Five Sisters, Death Valley, the Last Command Post, and the Badlands. B,L,D.

Day 7: The last day includes trekking the North Pocket, 1000 Man Cave, 77 MM gun, Hill row, Hills 120 and 140, Wattie Ridge, Boyd Ridge and Baldie Ridge. Farewell dinner tonight. B,L,D.

Day 8: Morning departure for Koror. In the afternoon there will be free time to visit the jail (you can get Storyboards there), National Museum, check Ben Franklin for any gift & shell permits if needed. B,L included, Dinner on your own. (* Drive to the airport @ 11 PM, flight leaves @ 0145 am on day 9)

Day 9: Depart Koror for Los Angeles, arriving same day.

**Note: This tour utilizes tourist class accommodation on Peleliu to maximize the battlefield touring. The activities listed are of an "adventure" nature, requiring a moderate level of physical fitness. Please contact our office with any questions. **This is not a van tour - we will drive from site to site, but will spend most of the time a foot. Lunch daily will be sandwiches in the field.
